General information about the hikes:

  • Please wear appropriate clothes for the current weather, and also think about sun screen, mosquito spray, etc.

  •  Your clothes should not be sensitive to dirt.

​

  • We are not responsible for any damage to your belongings.

​

  •  Sturdy footwear is required (please don't wear high heels, flip flops or alike) since we take unpaved paths through the woods.

​

  • Pack something to drink for the breaks.

​

  • We recommend using a backpack so you have both hands to hold the leash.

​

  • Kids aged 13 or younger must be accompanied by an adult.

​

  • Unfortunately, we cannot allow dogs.

​

  • Parents are responsible for their children.

​

  • Our alpacas like a good mood.

​

​

  • We only accept cash.

​

  • Special note for everyone who can speak English but not German: We can't offer English hikes all the time as half of our staff is not fluent in English. If you book it at least 2-3 weeks in before we will try our hardest to make it possible. Sorry for the resulting inconvenience!

Alpaca Hikes

Small hike

Duration about 1.5 hours, in total ca. 3.5 km.

After a short introduction, everyone can choose an alpaca and we walk in alpaca's pace on gravel roads and forest paths through the Birkenbühl forest by Beutelsdorf/Herzogenaurach, whilst having a nice chat about our cute animals.
During the hike, we will take a short break to let the alpacas eat some grass and leaves.
Afterwards, you can take pictures with our alpacas on our pasture.

Price:
30€ for every person with their "own" alpaca.
45€ total if you share an alpaca: 
Children between the age of 6 and 10 years must share an alpaca with an adult and cost 5€.
Children aged 6 years or less can join for free.



Beer garden hike

Only when the beer garden is open.
Duration about 4 hours, in total ca. 7 km.

After a short introduction, everyone can choose an alpaca and we walk in alpaca's pace on gravel roads and forest paths through the Birkenbühl forest by Beutelsdorf/Herzogenaurach to the beer garden in Obermembach. There, we will take a break to let the alpacas eat some grass while we enjoy a typical German beer garden meal.
You can take pictures with them during the break or afterwards, when we are back on our pasture.

Price:
Meal is not included in the price
45€ for every person with their "own" alpaca.
65€ total if you share an alpaca: 
Children between the age of 7 and 10 years must share an alpaca with an adult and cost 10€.




Trial visit

Duration about 45-60 minutes
When: Monday - Thursday

Here you are able to visit our alpacas on their pasture, take picture with them and give them alpaca treats.

Price:
15€ for each person
Children between the age of 7-10 years cost 5€
Children aged 6 years or younger can join for free.
